Doug Skidmore, the son of our founder, Jerry Skidmore, became our President in 1994. In 2003 he took over as Chief Executive Officer. He joined Skidmore Sales in 1990 as a Marketing Manager after several years as an Account Marketing Representative for IBM.
Prior to his tenure with IBM, Mr. Skidmore worked as a Marketing Assistant for Intellitech, and spent three years with Procter & Gamble's Food Process and Product Development Lab as a Summer Engineer.
Doug is a 1987 graduate of the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University where he received a Masters in Management. He also has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
